Is your city on the list?
In my quest to learn as much as possible about our community, I decided to take a look at the cities that have been most successful since we started.
I thought it would be fun to check which cities have the highest number of bators looking for other bators to have fun with.
LONDON, ENGLAND (population 8.9 million) leads the world in bators, apparently.
I guess this is not a surprise. The London Jack Off Club is one of the most popular events taking place in the capital. They sell out every time and found the need to start a second night to accommodate all the eager men looking to whip out their cocks among each other for fun. Be careful, it can be hard to get tickets. Not everyone is brave enough to attend a formal club with another hundred men, but we know there are smaller private groups that take place in home properties around the city and, although they don’t advertise, they are looking for local bators to join.
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (population 2.7 million) takes second place.
Once again, I can’t say I’m too surprised. At first, I had the clear impression that Chicago was a very busy city for bators. I know of at least three private bator groups that operated in the city and met regularly. In 2016, I made friends with a guy on social media who ran one of these groups, with 6 guys meeting to whip their cocks for a few hours every two weeks. I’m still surprised there isn’t an official male bator club operating in the city, unless there is and we just don’t know about it. If anyone wants to start one, we’d be happy to promote it.
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (population 3.9 million) takes third place.
I’m not going to lie, when we started the project, I was sure that the liberal attitudes of the West Coast of the U.S. would make it the most popular area for bator communities and guys looking to find other bators to share their strokes with. In fact, I’m surprised that LA isn’t at the top of the list, especially with a larger population than Chicago. On the other hand, maybe Chicago is just the outlier. It seems reasonable that Los Angeles would come in second after London, so perhaps Chicago does a better job of keeping its bator community running? It’s true that Angel City Jacks closed years ago, so maybe things will change now that there’s a new community growing there again.
NYC, NEW YORK (population 8.4 million)
Isn’t it strange? Once again, we might expect a city like New York to be in a higher position than Chicago, but somehow the several million additional men don’t seem to make a big difference when it comes to guys looking for other bators to play with. What exactly makes Chicago such a great capital of the U.S.? N.Y. operates there, but is currently on pause due to the pandemic. One would think that with so many men in the city there would be room for several clubs, but maybe we don’t know about the many private groups in the city and its surroundings.
DALLAS, TEXAS (population 1.3 million)
I’m going to reveal some biases here and admit that I had no idea Texas would be such a big hub. They say everything is bigger in Texas, and it seems that the need to share sex with other guys is included in that. Once again, it seems there is no formal masturbation club in Dallas; someone should get involved in that.
HOUSTON, TEXAS (population 2.3 million)
Although Houston ranks sixth on our list, it’s not the last time we return to Texas, and there are hundreds of other bators in the surrounding areas. So many small communities around Houston have bators looking for friends. Despite this, Houston does not have an official masturbation club that we know of. The Yahoo community closed when its Groups were abandoned, and we have no knowledge of members meeting or moving to another platform. There are certainly smaller unofficial clubs of guys meeting that we just don’t know about.
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA (population 870K)
I don’t know why I expected San Francisco’s population to be much larger, but I was surprised to see it doesn’t even reach a million. Still, they are on the main list of cities for active bators looking for friends, and I think it’s because they have always had such a vibrant and sexually diverse community. With Castro District and Folsom Street Fair, it’s a renowned hub for LGBT+ citizens, and I guess that means a considerable number of bator groups survive there. We knew about the San Francisco Jacks club, but it closed in 2019, and so far we have no record of it being replaced by any other official club. Clearly, there is an audience for it, and I assume there are still private groups meeting after the closure, so someone should get involved as soon as possible and start an official club in one of the many suitable venues for it.
AUSTIN, TEXAS (population 950K)
Texas is back on the list with Austin at number seven. Once again, we are surprised by the number of bators living in Texas; who would have thought this state would be so busy with men wanting to whip out their cocks and have a good time with their friends? Like Houston, the surrounding areas of Austin are also quite busy, with bators appearing in numerous communities beyond the city limits. I assume many of them make regular trips to Austin for work or socializing, so they are probably looking for other bators using a t-shirt or showing a lapel pin when they are in the city. We don’t know of any formal masturbation clubs in Austin, so if anyone wants to get involved, they can. There seems to be a corridor of bators running from San Antonio, through Austin, and up to Dallas, with guys along the way in numerous cities.
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA (population 1.4 million)
We’re back in the larger populations, and it’s interesting to see that Austin beats San Diego despite the size difference. We have no knowledge of any official bator clubs or groups existing in San Diego, but we are absolutely sure there must be at least a few that we don’t know about.
BERLIN, GERMANY (population 3.6 million)
The first city from continental Europe to make the list, Berlin is one of the most liberal of all. With an extremely active and diverse range of adult venues and sex clubs, it may not be a surprise that it surpasses all its European neighbors when it comes to bator lifestyle. We know of several sex clubs that host events in Berlin, but trying to find information about them or establish if any are exclusively a masturbation club has proven to be almost impossible. It’s clear that there are private groups, but there are no formal masturbation clubs that we know of.
DENVER, COLORADO (population 705K)
Another surprise! Denver, Colorado, seems to have a very active and eager male bator community. There has been a bator club running there for several years. When one closed, another opened, with an average attendance of 50 members gathering for each event.
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON (population 725K)
We knew Seattle would be a popular place for bators, and it seems they didn’t take long to step in and start. It’s a very active city. Aside from that, there are many local guys looking for friends to share their strokes with, so even if you don’t like joining a large crowd of other men stroking, you have the chance to meet guys showing off their bulges and pecs in the city’s bars and clubs.
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA (population 5.3 million)
It may not be surprising that the bator community in Sydney seems to have a younger age demographic than in many other places. At least anecdotally, the stereotype of the “surfer” of young men in their 20s and 30s seems predominantly in the bator lifestyle there. Unfortunately, we don’t know of any formal wanking clubs in Sydney, although it seems there is a large audience waiting for one.
MADRID, SPAIN (population 6.7 million)
We look forward to seeing how many new guys join our community in Madrid 2022!
