PeC is a non-profit organization managed with a lot of internal work, great care, and much more effort than is visible from the outside.
Events do not set themselves up. The space does not magically appear prepared. The reception, cleaning, materials, organization, website, communication, and closing are not done by “someone.” They are done by the team.
Being Staff is not coming for free. It is lending a hand to keep PeC running.
🤝 What Volunteers Do
Volunteers help ensure that events and the organization can function with order, discretion, and continuity.
🚪 Welcome, access control, and attendee registration.
🧭 Orientation for new members.
🧼 Preparation, cleaning, and closing of the space.
📦 Checking materials, supplies, and dispensers.
📣 Support in communication, social media, or content.
💻 Collaboration in the website, internal organization, or technical tasks.
Every bit of help counts. But helping implies real commitment, not just showing up when it feels convenient.
🎟️ Benefits of Being Staff
Volunteering has advantages, but it is not a free pass to disengage. Participation is because you contribute.
✅ Free entry to the event where you volunteer.
✅ Possible access to other events if relevant tasks are performed outside of them.
✅ Participation in internal meetings, organization, and improvement of the club.
✅ Integration into an active, discreet, and committed community.
The benefit comes with responsibility. Without real collaboration, there is no Staff condition.
📋 Requirements to Be Staff
Not everyone fits as a volunteer. To be part of the Staff, trust, consistency, knowing how to behave, and the association's belief that the person fits with the team are needed.
👤 Be an active member of the association.
🕒 Punctuality and commitment.
🤝 Reliability and discretion.
🧼 Ability to collaborate in logistical tasks.
📋 Absolute respect for the code of conduct and the club's privacy.
🛡️ The final decision rests with the association
Wanting to be Staff does not automatically mean joining the team.
The association will evaluate each case based on trust, attitude, availability, discretion, real ability to help, and the club's needs.
If it doesn't fit, that's okay: you can continue participating as a member without being part of the Staff.
💳 Staff Subscription
The annual Staff fee is 50 € and is managed through the corresponding subscription.
Activating the subscription does not automatically make anyone an operational Staff member without fitting into the team. There must first be commitment, availability, and trust.
Staff means trust. And trust cannot be bought: it must be demonstrated.
🚫 What Being Staff Is Not
❌ It is not signing up to get in for free.
❌ It is not having privileges without responsibility.
❌ It is not showing up late, disappearing, or leaving the team hanging.
❌ It is not using internal club information to gossip or expose us.
Staff means trust. And trust must be cared for.
📦 Other Ways to Collaborate
If you still cannot be a volunteer, you can also support the project by providing useful materials for the association.
🎥 Audiovisual materials: videos, magazines, or useful content.
📽️ Equipment: projectors, screens, or sound systems.
🛏️ Textiles: clean sheets, preferably large.
💻 Technology: old laptops, monitors, or usable equipment.
🛋️ Furniture: sturdy sofas, accessories, or materials in good condition.
Every contribution counts if it is truly useful. If you have something useful, please contact us before bringing it.
