This year we are pleased to announce the opening of our club one more day a week:

To adapt to this new weekday schedule, we have made only one change: check-in can be done between 8:00 PM and 10:30 PM, with the possibility of staying in the room until 11:30 PM. (Same code of conduct: Nothing goes inside anything and no lips below the hips)

Why create a space to enjoy PeC-movies?

In March 2022, coinciding with our official proposal Pajas entre colegas, the last X-rated cinema closed its doors.

Located in Valencia, it closed down and Spain bid farewell to those cinemas where the session was continuous and erotic content reigned. Those theaters were opened thanks to the Miró Law and there were long lines during their inauguration. In fact, up to 90 theaters were opened throughout the country. They had 200 seats and far from the censorship imposed years ago, films like Deep Throat or Exhibition were shown.
X-Rated Theaters, a revolutionary opening
Most of the attendees at the opening of the X-rated theaters were male audience. Women were scandalized (even the "most modern" ones). The capital had eight theaters, while in Barcelona, Seville, Alicante, Valencia, and Palma, two were opened and only one in Almería, Granada, Lleida, and Zaragoza. In any case, the lines were long and the audience was varied, from a man with a beret and a cane to a young man in jeans and a leather jacket. The theaters, which had to have a luminous sign to indicate the space to the attendees, had particular requirements. They could be installed only in cities with at least three conventional theaters open uninterruptedly, that is, with continuous sessions. And as for their peculiarities, X-rated theaters had to offer 200 seats. It is worth noting that X-rated theaters did not receive any type of state subsidy or protection. (as is our case)
The decline of "porno theaters"
Despite the fact that the opening of these theaters was a real revolution, either for the thrill of watching an erotic content film in a theater where films like Casablanca (1942), Operation Cabaretera (1967), or Manolo La Nuit (1973) had been shown years before, or for participating in that explosion of freely seeing sexuality on a big screen, the success was short-lived. The Betamax or VHS formats were booming, and in Spain, the first video clubs began to open where customers could choose movies and take them home.
