The terms presented here are a guide to help you understand them, but they are not absolute and may vary in their definitions.
A/
Aftercare is the time after the session when you can relax and return to your usual self. It is recommended to exit calmly, with a massage and cream, a quiet chat, displays of affection like hugs, cuddles, stretches, and possibly a nap. Sometimes, after such a powerful stimulus, some strong negative feelings like sadness or guilt may be released; all of this is normal and resolves over time, with love and conversation. There is no need to worry; attention and affection will guide the pup out of this trance. For the handler, it is essential that if they engaged in practices that may cause physical injuries (like impact play, rough use of knees and wrists while on all fours, etc.), they check that the pup is healthy and reassure them that they did a good job (good boy!!). It is also advisable to discuss how the play session made them feel, which points they liked the most, and what they would like to repeat or experience in future sessions.
Alpha is the most dominant type of pup within the pack hierarchy, generally the leader of it, just below the owner, although they can also assume their functions independently.
Owner/Handler/Dom is the person who plays their role as the dominant "the one who holds the reins of the game." They may own a submissive or human pup (or more) or practice independently with others without having to assume any relationship or formality. If a formality or relationship arises, it must be done with the pup's consent and under the terms that both define for it. The owner will take care of the pup, play with them, and in some cases train them and help the pup become the best version of themselves.
B/
Beta in a pack, betas are the second in command, those pups who are governed under the leadership of an alpha and/or the owner, hierarchically below the alpha and above the omegas. Despite having different hierarchical roles, they are equally important in the relationship; a pup can designate which role they are interested in playing or leave it to consensus for a dominant or alpha to assign them a position within the pack. They are more versatile between being dominant and submissive, so they can lead the pack or follow orders depending on the situation. They are the next in the hierarchical scale of the pack after the Alpha. Unlike the Omega, the Beta can make certain control decisions over other individuals in the pack.
BDSM is an acronym for Bondage, Discipline, Dominance, Submission, Sadism, and Masochism; it encompasses various practices in which there is a power exchange that produces pleasure through different types of stimuli apart from intercourse, which are fetish activities that people participate in.

C/
Stray An independent pup who can play the role they like as alpha or beta, does not have an owner by their own decision, or is looking for someone to stay with. A pup without an owner or pack, generally very hyperactive and annoying in seeking attention and wanting to belong to something, although the opposite case can also occur, being shy and unassuming.
Muzzle or Puppyhood of a pup.
Cat Play (Kitty Play) Name within pet play, consisting of the entire set of actions and practices aimed at assuming the specific and mental role of a cat by the submissive.
Shock Collar Device used for training real dogs; its use on human pups is not recommended unless under medical supervision and with knowledge of the risks to which the wearer may be exposed.
Collarization It is a symbol where an owner and a pup decide to formalize their relationship, where both accept and agree on different types of rules and obligations. The collar means "belonging" (although there are pups who wear it purely for the aesthetics of the gear without needing to have an owner). It should be remembered that by doing this, both the owner and the pup have duties to fulfill for each other. At the same time, it is possible for the owner to give a name to their pup if they accept it, as it is also at the choice of both that the pup may already have their nickname or preference for a name.

Diaperpup Pup that combines elements of puppy play with the AB/DL (Adult Baby/Diaper Lover) fetish, generally involving the use of diapers.

It is often related to BDSM practices of domination and submission. Unlike Puppy Play, Dog Play focuses on the more physical aspect of the dog, without including playful aspects as occurs with puppy play, developing mainly on all fours, while the pup maintains their attitude even on two legs.
Dominant (dom) – An individual who takes the dominant role within a BDSM session; there may be a relationship under agreements or not, that is left to the choice of those playing; they are also the ones in charge of leading a pack or several submissives, and if they wish, they can also be a pup (see alpha).

Munch – A typically pup game, consisting of small fights on all fours through pushing.
Muzzle – A type of mask used in Pup play that simulates a dog's muzzle and ears. Unlike Puppyhood, this does not cover the entire head. Also, within BDSM toys, muzzles are the gags.
O/
Omega – A pup considered Omega typically does not want to take on a leadership role; they enjoy serving those who have earned their respect and trust. They love making others happy. They follow the orders of Betas, Alphas, and Handlers, but it should be noted that they have decision-making power and a mind of their own.
P/
Safeword – A term used in BDSM practices to refer to a signal used as an indication that the game or practice being done should pause or end. It is one of the basic elements of the social contract established in a BDSM relationship and is a fundamental safety measure. For practices where the mouth cannot speak, rhythmic sounds or specific movements like snapping fingers can be used instead of the safeword.
